About The College:
Kilmarnock College is set in the heart of East Ayrshire and is a College committed to working with learners, communities and businesses. For 50 years Kilmarnock College has been dedicated to developing the learning experience for all our customers. We work with a number of accredited providers in order to provide recognised qualifications as well as other educational and commercial stakeholders to make sure we continue to deliver relevant and high quality training courses.
The College offers a wide range of class room based part and full-time courses and also many courses on a flexible basis including evening classes, vocational qualifications, open and distance learning. Kilmarnock College has a strong commercial focus and offers a wide range of first class training solutions including short college courses and certified qualifications including SVQ’s, City & Guilds and professional housing and management programmes.

Support for learning
The Support for Learning Service offer support with: General learning difficulty Specific learning difficulty (eg. dyslexia, autistic spectrum disorder) Sensory impairment (hearing, visual) Mental health need Physical disability Health need Social, emotional or behavioural difficulty.
Access courses
The College runs Access courses leading to higher education in Arts, Social Sciences, Primary Education and Nurse Entry.
Part time study
There are part time day and evening courses, as well as flexible, open learning and on-line courses.
Community courses
The College runs day and evening classes at centres throughout East and North Ayrshire.
Vocational learning
The College has a dedicated team of Vocational Assessors in Health and Social Care, Motor Vehicle, Hairdressing, Engineering and Learning and Development. They are here to support you to achieve your vocational qualification. Qualifications are certificated by SQA, IMI and EAL and are offered at Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4.
Training solutions
The College works collaboratively with local businesses to ensure our courses meet industry needs and support economic development. These courses will be of interest to businesses as well as individuals looking to enhance their skills and future job prospects.
