About The College:
North Glasgow College has over 40 years of teaching experience. It is one of the main providers of further education in Scotland.
The College located to its brand new environmentally friendly premises in October 2008.
North Glasgow is committed to widening access to those from disadvantaged groups.
It runs over 100 courses, at levels from Access and National Qualification to Higher National Diploma, through the following departments
Construction Technologies
Creative and Applied Arts
Engineering Technologies
Humanities, Science and Care
Management, Business and Sport
Support for learning
Learner Services staff provide support for study, advising on learning and study skills. There is additional help with core skills and Extended Learning Support for students who have a disability or specific learning difficulty.
Child care
The College does not have a nursery, but may be able to help fund registered child care elsewhere.
Adult entrants
The College welcomes increasing numbers of adult students. You may not need normal entry requirements.
Access courses
The College runs Access courses leading to higher education in Health Studies, Humanities, Nursing and Science.
Part time study
The College runs part time courses, day and evening and flexible learning courses.
Community courses
Courses run in a range of venues in the north of Glasgow, including Learning Centres at Possil, Balgrayhill, Barmulloch and Molendinar.
