About The College:
South Lanarkshire College East Kilbride started as Cambuslang School of Building in 1948. It became a community college in 1983.
The College moved to a newly built campus in East Kilbride early in 2008.
It has around 6,000 students, taking courses which include Scottish Vocational Qualifications, National Qualifications and Higher National Certificates and Diplomas.

Support for learning
The Additional Support team provide support for learning. There is additional help with English and maths.
Extra support is provided for students who have special needs, including dyslexia. The College has a wide range of enabling technologies and can provide materials on tape, in large print or in Braille.
Child care
There is a nursery on campus which takes children from birth to 5 years during term time.
Adult entrants
Adult students are welcome. You may not need the normal entry qualifications.
Access courses
The College runs an Access to Humanities course with primary or secondary education routes, leading to Higher National or degree study, as well as an Access to Nursing course.
Part time study
The College publishes prospectuses of part time day and evening courses in May or June. The Flexible Learning catalogue is updated from the beginning of August.
Community courses
The College runs a variety of community based courses throughout South Lanarkshire.
