A wide range of postgraduate opportunities is available in both music and drama.

  • performances in the Academy and elsewhere

  • masterclasses with distinguished visiting professionals

  • arts work with local communities.
You may be able to spend some time abroad through:
  • exchange with comparable institutions in Europe and America

  • participating in international theatre and music festivals.
Applying to RSAMD
For entry to undergraduate music courses you apply through the Conservatoires UK Admissions Service (CUKAS) . Details are on the CUKAS website: www.cukas.ac.uk

However, for drama and dance courses you apply directly to the Academy by mid January in the year you propose to start.

There is an interview or audition for all courses.

Support for learning
If you have a disability, health issue or special educational need, contact the Academy to discuss your needs so that support can be arranged for visits, auditions or interviews. You can find more details on line in the leaflet ‘Information for Disabled Students and Applicants’.
